Student Assistant

Duties: Assist in providing support at the Laptop Helpdesk, Student Helpdesk and Faculty/Staff Helpdesk

  • Student helpdesk assistants provide support to the following technology
    areas: General PC lab, Academic labs, Residence Hall labs, CASA labs, public terminals in the Library, Technology Enhanced rooms and Residence Hall labs.
  • Student assistants working at the faculty/staff helpdesk may upgrade, repair and/or rebuild campus pc computers and various pieces of software.
  • Laptop helpdesk assistants support and/or troubleshoot college owned laptops and student owned laptops.
  • All students will help to disseminate information regarding use and misuse
    of equipment and software
